Contractor Code of Conduct

This Contractor Code of Conduct (“Code”) sets expectations for all contractors using the Quality Work App (“the App”) to perform and document work. By using the App, you agree to follow this Code and any additional policies provided by the organization that engaged you.

1. Professional Conduct

Contractors are expected to act professionally at all times while performing work and using the App. This includes:

  • Arriving on time and prepared for assigned tasks
  • Communicating clearly and respectfully with clients, supervisors, and team members
  • Following instructions and project specifications
  • Representing the hiring organization in a professional manner

2. Accurate Documentation

The App is used to document work through photos, notes, and task updates. Contractors must:

  • Submit truthful and accurate before‑, during‑, and after‑photos
  • Provide clear and honest descriptions of work performed
  • Update task status promptly as work progresses
  • Avoid altering, staging, or falsifying documentation

Any intentional misrepresentation or falsification of work may result in removal from the platform, contract termination, or further action by the hiring organization.

3. Compliance with Laws and Policies

Contractors must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies, including:

  • Local labor, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Site‑specific rules and access requirements
  • Health and safety standards
  • Confidentiality and data protection obligations

4. Safety and Workmanship

Contractors are responsible for performing work safely and to a professional standard. This includes:

  • Following all safety procedures and using required protective equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
  • Using tools and materials properly and responsibly
  • Reporting hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions promptly

5. Use of the App and Devices

Contractors must use the App and their devices responsibly. This includes:

  • Keeping login credentials secure and not sharing accounts
  • Ensuring devices are functional and charged for work
  • Using the App only for authorized work‑related purposes
  • Respecting privacy when capturing photos (avoiding unnecessary personal or sensitive content)

6. Confidentiality and Data Protection

Contractors may have access to confidential information, including client locations, project details, and visual documentation. Contractors must:

  • Protect confidential information from unauthorized access or disclosure
  • Use information only for the purpose of completing assigned work
  • Follow any additional confidentiality agreements required by the organization

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following behavior is strictly prohibited while using the App or performing work:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior
  • Fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Intentional damage to property or equipment
  • Sharing or selling access to the App or work opportunities

8. Reporting Concerns

Contractors are encouraged to report concerns related to safety, misconduct, or misuse of the App to their supervisor or organizational contact. Serious concerns may also be reported to:

9. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Code may result in:

  • Warnings or corrective actions
  • Removal from specific projects or tasks
  • Suspension or revocation of access to the App
  • Termination of contract or engagement
  • Further action by the hiring organization, where applicable
